RESEARCH PROJECT
If anyone wants to look up the local, Saskatchewan, news article on the man now identified as The Mad Trapper, they can look for it in the Norquay North Star or Canora Courier around and before 1982. The interviewee died in 1982.
These papers are available at the Saskatchwan Archives in Regina and Canada Archives in Ottawa.
I've already had someone look at the years 1980-82 in the Canora Courier. So it's probably in the Norquay North Star. The headline includes the phrase, "99% Sure He Knows The Mad Trapper" and it's a half page article in a 12 page newspaper.

And Constable William Carter's report which is hidden in the Canada Archives in Ottawa should be found and published in its entirety.
